What is financial literacy month?
During the month of November, organizations across Canada are encouraged to do their part to help strengthen the financial literacy of individuals and families. The goal is to help people understand their finances.
Here at addy, we will be rolling out new content on our blog, Youtube channel and other social platforms. So make sure you subscribe and follow along on our social channels: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit.
What can you expect?
Throughout the month of November, we will be talking to a wide variety of professionals, from financial advisors to realtors. They will be telling us why they believe financial literacy is important as well as covering some interesting topics that aren’t often talked about. Such as the importance of talking about finances with your partner, introducing budgets to kids, and what your options are when it comes to saving for retirement. These are some things that you may have thought about, but maybe you haven’t done the research yet.
Hopefully, this series will give you the information you need to start your education process when it comes to finances.
What do you want to know?
