addy is excited to announce our new community moderators on our Discord channel! We’re thrilled at the opportunity to engage with members, potential members and those just interested in crowdfunded Canadian real estate.
Before we introduce some of our passionate mods, it’s worth quickly going over what Discord offers and what addy members can expect.

Why did you become a moderator: To help new members navigate as they learn and discover addy.
Why do you like addy: I love how addy is disrupting how Canadians invest in real estate, making real estate investments accessible and democratizing how everyday Canadians can invest in real estate for as little as $1! It’s an ingenious model that everyone should consider for their investment goals.
How many properties have you invested in: 15 addys and counting!
What do you like about the addy Discord community: Lots of diversity of thought and discussion about real estate, personal finances and addy. A lot to learn from so many folks.

Why did you become a moderator: I became a moderator to help build the community and keep it a safe and inclusive forum for addy members!
Why do you like addy: I love that addy is giving Canadians the opportunity to invest in real estate! As someone that didn’t have the resources to get involved in this type of asset, it’s a dream come true
How many properties have you invested in: So far I have 13 and no plans on stopping.
What do you like about the addy Discord community: The addy and Discord community is so welcoming and willing to share knowledge. I’ve learned so much about investing since I’ve joined. Like they say, “knowledge is power!”

Why did you become a moderator: To contribute in a meaningful way to the community.
Why do you like addy? Gives me access to the real estate market when otherwise I wouldn’t have it. addy allows me to learn more about real estate and do a fun investment hobby.

What do you like about the addy Discord community: I get to learn about everything related to investment, finance and real estate from a variety of diverse individuals. It’s a fun community that helps and learns from each other.

Why did you become a moderator: People helped me when I was brand new and had a lot of questions, I want to pay it back. I also love addy and what they are doing!
Why do you like addy: It allows anyone to invest in properties whether you have a dollar to spare or more, and makes getting into real estate accessible to more people.
How many properties have you invested in: 7 for now but constantly growing!
What do you like about the addy Discord community: Sharing ideas, chatting about properties and learning from each other!

Why did you become a moderator: Help free up time for Edward (Community Success Specialist).
Why do you like addy: A lot of reasons! addy’s team is very transparent with us about everything related to their product. Access to deals where normally the minimum deposit is between 20k to 100k. Provides diversification away from the stock market. App where I’m not the one being the product.
How many properties have you invested in: 11.
What do you like about the addy Discord community: Chatting about real estate and learning from each other. Everyone is helpful to one another.

Where do you live: Primarily Vancouver, B.C. Also Chicago, Perth and Melbourne.
Why did you become a moderator: Reutilizing previous experience as a moderator while in college days to assist addy’s team. To provide value-added service for new Discord members who need direction, and provide experience from an addy investor.
Why do you like addy: The ability to diversify portfolio inter-provincially while living locally & working internationally. addy does the background work, due diligence and its intricacies. I have control in how comfortable I am in investing in a property showcased without being emotionally attached or needing a gargantuan amount upfront as in a conventional brick & mortar investment.
How many properties have you invested in: 17 since addy’s second property drop: Starbucks in 2020.
What do you like about the addy Discord community? Learning from others who have investment experience and background. Involvement and transparencies of the addy leadership team.
