Event Recap w/ BC Minister of Housing Ravi Kahlon (Video)

Hon. Minister of Housing, Ravi Kahlon

BC Minister of Housing, Ravi Kahlon, joined addy Co-Founder Stephen Jagger for a wide-ranging fireside chat on housing, regulation, taxes, government incentives, First Nations lands, zoning changes, and more. We are grateful to the Minister for participating. Here’s a sneak peek:

The sold-out event at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club drew a diverse crowd from the real estate community, including developers, landowners, and brokers. Attendees were eager to hear the Minister’s insights on the housing file and have their questions addressed.

While some questions were straightforward and allowed the Minister to discuss his policies and talking points, others posed more challenges, as the crowd provided pushback.

The discussion touched upon government funding for the Digital Supercluster, which specifically focuses on the ‘Digital for Housing Mandate Initiative’. The technology that addy provides to Issuers (real estate developers / operators) also plays a unique role in not only helping Issuers systemize and automate their offerings but enabling them to open up investment opportunities to their employees, tenants, trades and other 3rd party groups.
