Keyspire Investor Summit Recap: September 27-29, 2024

The addy team had an incredible experience at the Keyspire Investor Summit in Toronto. This was a massive real estate investing event, featuring thousands of attendees, a bustling marketplace, and an impressive lineup of speakers, including none other than Shaquille O’Neal!

addy had a major presence at the event, with a large booth where attendees could interact with the team, learn about our platform, and even snap some photos. Steve Jagger took to the main stage to discuss addy’s journey, how we’ve successfully brought over 50 properties to our members, and what’s next for our platform.

Hard Money Loan – Sold Out in 24 Hours!

While at Keyspire, we launched our first hard money loan on the addy platform. This investment opportunity, secured by a second mortgage on a single-family home in Vancouver, sold out in under 24 hours!

Hard money loans offer a unique opportunity for investors looking to diversify, and this initial offering proved to be extremely popular. Keep an eye on the platform for more upcoming opportunities in this category—they’re moving fast!

Davenport Property in Toronto – Fully Subscribed

Another piece of great news: The Davenport property in Toronto has now been fully subscribed! This project is transforming a commercial building into eight residential units and a commercial space on the ground floor. The construction work has already started, and we’re thrilled to see 620 Canadian investors join this exciting project.

Tres Capital Private Credit Offering is Back!

Tres Capital, a well-regarded real estate investment firm, has returned to the addy platform with another private credit offering. Their first offering sold out in just six and a half days, and now they’re back with tranche 2. Head over to the platform to check out the details—don’t miss out!

Website Updates – New Sections for Investors, Issuers, and Borrowers

We’ve made some enhancements to the addy website to make navigation easier and more intuitive for all our users. You’ll now notice distinct sections like “For Investors,” “For Issuers,” and “For Borrowers.”

For those interested in borrowing through our hard money loans, simply click on “For Borrowers” to learn more about how these loans work and how to apply. We’ve also revamped the “For Issuers,” page, making it easier for businesses to understand how to use the addy platform for their fundraising needs.

Toronto Meetup with Mitch – Coming Soon!

Our colleague Mitch will be hosting a meetup in downtown Toronto shortly after our Co-founder Steve wraps up his time at the “Your Life, Your Terms” event. This meetup will be a great opportunity for both investors and issuers to come and chat about the addy platform, ask questions, and learn more about our offerings.
