The Neighbourhood

  • Consistently ranked one of the best small cities in the world, Victoria is a place where business thrives and people prosper. There are multiple strong industries supporting job and population growth.
  • Victoria is a beautiful city with amenities for every age and lifestyle. Combined, this creates a high housing demand with a 1% vacancy rate.
  • Stirling development is located in Esquimalt, one of 13 municipalities in Victoria. Stable and growth-oriented council. 5-minute drive to downtown Victoria, 1 block to waterfront, and close to schools, clinics, and all amenities.
  • There is heavy municipal, provincial, and federal investment in these areas that is driving the demand and increased housing prices

BC Economy

  • BC’s job growth, climate, lifestyle, diverse culture, unemployment rate, and high standard of living make it one of the best places in the world to live and invest.
  • British Columbia is a key transportation hub between the Asia-Pacific region and North America.
  • World class post-secondary education
  • Competitive business environment-saving sectors like real estate, labour, and energy up to 18%.

Victoria Economy

  • Higher than average migration. Victoria’s population is consistently rising but affordable housing hasn’t been able to keep up with demand.
  • Advanced technology is the leading economic generator ($3.15 billion). Greater Victoria is also a major tourism destination ($2 billion). Government, education, military, marine, construction, health, retail, and agriculture are other sectors supporting the economy and are steadily on the rise.
  • Victoria’s 5.1% unemployment rate is lower than the national average of 6.8%. Maintained one of the lowest unemployment rates through the pandemic.
  • MoneySense sees Victoria as the number 1 place in Canada to retire. The average Canadian is retiring at the age of 64, and with the largest demographic on the verge of retiring, being 50-60 years of age, it’s reasonable to expect that this trend continues for many years to come. This will bring hundreds of thousands of new retiree’s to Vancouver Island and in particular, Victoria.

The Federal Government has invested more than $175 million in coastal communities. Esquimalt has the largest deep-sea ship repair facility on the Pacific Coast and the economic impact has brought in more than 1300 jobs to the area. This will create increased demand for housing as there is a domino effect to provide services to the workers and their families. The island remains one of the best places to live and invest in BC.

What our members are saying

“It was an easy way to invest some funds in real estate that I would normally not be able to afford on my own. It’s great to be part of something that is creating a new way of investing.”

Klaus / Toronto, ON

“My wife and I are excited to have discovered addy, and invested in a Starbucks location nearby — it’s nice to be able to participate in owning commercial real estate without putting up a bunch of money, and knowing we can drive by it anytime makes it more fun than buying stocks!”

Shawn / Nanaimo, BC

“This is God sent, if you ask me. A chance to own a slice of commercial properties all over the country. An opportunity I otherwise wouldn’t have had had it not been for addy. I can’t thank addy enough. I eagerly await for addys to drop and with each investment, I know I’m actively improving my financial future.”
